GSPL India Gasnet Limited (GIGL) is a joint venture company comprising of GSPL, IOCL, HPCL & BPCL; a Public Sector Undertaking as per section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013. GSPL holds 52% of total share holding while IOCL holds 26% and BPCL as well as HPCL each holds 11% shares. Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), through competitive bidding, has authorized GIGL to implement Mehsana – Bathinda pipeline project (MBPL - approx. 1830kms) and Bathinda – Jammu – Srinagar pipeline projects (BJSPL - approx. 750kms). MBPL project traverses through the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana & Punjab while BJSPL project traverses through the states of Punjab and J&K. GIGL has designed and engineered it’s projects in accordance with requirement of applicable codes and standards which will enable MBPL to transport approx. 45 MMSCMD of gas initially and subsequently volumes will be ramped up to 73 MMSCMD over the years from Mehsana (Gujarat) to Bhatinda (Punjab) while BJSPL has been designed to transport approx. 31 MMSCMD initially from Bathinda (Punjab) to Jammu (J&K) with a view to cater gas demands of various industrial consumers & city gas distribution networks in the State of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana ,Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. GIGL gas grid will be equipped with dedicated Optical Fibre Cable Network with 3 tier redundant Telemetry systems and modern State-of-the-art Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system along with other high end reliable automation system enabling remote Operations, Monitoring and Control for this cross country Pipeline from Gandhinagar, Bhatinda or Jammu.

GSPL India Gasnet Limited (GIGL) proposes to install approx. 1637 km long Natural Gas pipeline network from Palanpur (Gujarat) to Bathinda (Punjab) to cater to gas demands of various industrial consumers & city gas distribution networks in the State of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. The pipeline size and length for the Mainline from IP-1 (Shiv Talav Dist. Pali, Rajasthan) to RT at Bathinda is 30”, 680 KM Approx. and for spur lines are 18”, 221 KM and 12”, 37 KM. The Spur lines shall supply Natural Gas to various consumers at Rohtak, Panipat, Hisar and Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Ltd (GGSRL), NFL, Bathinda. Additionally, tap-off provisions shall be kept at certain locations in the pipeline system for supply of Natural gas to various other consumers in future. The scope of work consists of Design and Engineering, Procurement and Supply of all Materials (as per scope of supply), Installation, Testing, Preservation (if required), Electronic Geometric Pigging (EGP), Intelligent Pigging, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning for the complete pipeline system including PIMS of the present project. The pipeline system includes main pipeline, spur-lines, Dispatch Terminals, Intermediate Pigging Stations, Sectionalizing Valve Stations, Manual Valve Stations, Tap-offs, Receipt Terminals and all associated facilities. The work includes installation of pipeline and related piping works and all associated Civil, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation/ telecom, etc. Section-IV has been covered in two spread (i.e. Spread-D1 & D2). Spread-D1 is from Ch. 567.186 km (i.e. IP-4) to Ch. 640.775 km (i.e. 010-SVS-4020) and Spread-D2 is from Ch. 640.775 km (i.e. 010-SVS-4020) to Ch. 701.232 km (i.e. IP-5) of the 30” mainline. Section-V has been covered in two spread (i.e. Spread-E1 & E2). Spread-E1 is from Ch. 701.232km (i.e. IP-5) to Ch. 782.032 km (i.e. 010-SVS-4024) and Spread-E2 is from Ch. 782.032 km (i.e. 010-SVS-4024) to Ch. 838.266 km (i.e. Bathinda RT) of the 30” mainline & Ch. 0 km (i.e. DT at SV-4025 of 30” Mainline) to 16.95 km (i.e. GGSRL RT) of the 18” GGSRL Spurline and Ch. 0 km (i.e. DT at RT Bathinda of 30” Mainline) to 29.62 km (i.e. NFL RT) of the 12” NFL Spurline.
